Library FAQ

I have completed my studies. As an alumni, do I still have access to the Library facilities and services?

No. Only current students and staff are eligible to use the Library facilities and services. Users may refer to the rules and regulations.

How can I find my lost items at the Library?

Users can approach staff at the Library counter.

Can I borrow an extension wire here?

Yes, you can. Users can borrow an extension wire at the Library counter with their Student ID.

Can I bring my umbrella into the library?

No.  Please leave your umbrella outside.

How do I use the daily locker?

Users can borrow the daily  locker at the Library counter with their Student ID.

Note: The key must be returned on the same day before the Library closes.

How can I book the project room?

Users can make online booking at Library Website or also can scan the QR code at the Library counter. User may refer to the rules and regulations.

Can I book the project room in advance?

Yes, you can. Advance booking up to 1 week is allowed. Please refer to the rules and regulations.

If I want to cancel my project room booking, what should I do?

Users can either cancel the booking from the email received from LibCal upon booking or inform the Library staff at the counter. 

What is the maximum number of students allowed in the Project Room?

A group of 3 to 10 persons per session/ per room. Please refer to the rules and regulations.

Can I make changes the total number of users in my booking?

Yes, you can. Just approach the Library staff to update this.

How long can we use the Project Room?

Booking may be made for up to 2 hours per group / session per day. Users may refer to the rules and regulations.

Can I borrow the PowerPoint remote control?

Yes, you can. Users can borrow the remote control at the Library counter only when they are using the Project Room.
